About Our Union

CUPW believes all workers deserve a union. We are organizing and we are growing in the struggle for better working conditions for all. We are postal and beyond – representing over 60,000 workers from coast to coast to coast in postal, delivery, logistics, transportation, communication, and more!

CUPW is focused on bringing workers together in these key sectors to improve their lives.

Our members are part of a delivery chain that ensures letters, goods and products get to where they’re needed. CUPW members work in printing companies, as mechanics, cleaners, couriers and emergency care dispatchers. We are a union with a committed history of social justice – fighting for equality and justice at home and internationally.

Traditionally, CUPW has represented postal counter staff, letter carriers, mail-handlers, maintenance workers and drivers. However, our union has also been expanding into other workplaces in the struggle for better working conditions for all.
