Adecco Negotiations Begin

With the demands ratified by the membership, negotiations began with Adecco on Tuesday February 26, 2013.

At our meeting, the Union presented its demands and discussed how the parties will proceed. The employer will provide us with any demands that they may have in about a week.

We will be setting up more meetings over these next two months but, in the meantime, we have agreed to exchange language on non-monetary issues.

The Union also raised the issues of health and safety inspections and health and safety committees. The employer committed to ensuring that they will live up to their obligations under the Canada Labour Code.
