Fact Sheet Available Online

Now that the extension of our collective agreements has expired, we have started a nationwide overtime ban, and Canada Post has pushed for a forced vote on its “best and final offers,” it is important to remind ourselves of some of the major issues at stake right now.

The Union has prepared a bargaining fact sheet that you can review by scanning the QR code attached to this bulletin or by visiting this link: cupw.ca/fact-sheet.

Because it is a digital document, we will be able to make updates as developments progress.

Our Struggle

This round of Negotiations has been a challenge for us all. When we took strike action last November, none of us expected it to last until June.

Although tensions are high, let’s not forget our fight is with the Employer, not one another. Let’s remember the sacrifices that those who came before us made, so that we can enjoy the rights we have today. Standing together in solidarity, we can carry that proud tradition forward.
