The National Executive Board, at its August 18 to 21, 2020 meeting discussed the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on meetings stipulated in the National Constitution.

Taken into consideration were health and safety concerns and provincial and federal restrictions imposed on travel and gathering sizes.

NEB Resolution

The National Executive Board adopted the following resolution:

“It is MOVED, SECONDED and CARRIED that the NEB authorize all National meetings, normally held face-to-face under the National Constitution, be held by virtual platforms until June 2021. The NEB will review the status of the COVID-19 pandemic in June 2021 and any federal and provincial restrictions suggested or in place.”

Respective Officers for each constitutional meeting or conference will reach out to committee members and participants with information on how the meetings or conference will proceed.

We will provide enough advance information to ensure everyone is comfortable with the platform used.
