If so, then the new LCC Certificate Program is for you!
The redesigned LCC Certificate Program is flexible and accessible. It features both online and in-class modules offered in multiple locations and gives students the option to complete the program in 15 or 28 months.
Who Should Apply?*
Union members from Canadian Labour Congress affiliated unions who:
* Members of equity-seeking groups are encouraged to apply, including women workers, workers of colour, workers with disabilities, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, two-spirit, intersex and Indigenous workers.
The Labour College of Canada (LCC) is a union-made education program for active union members, including today’s and tomorrow’s union leaders. The new LCC Certificate Program is more accessible, affordable, and relevant than ever before.
First offered over 50 years ago, today’s LCC delivers in-depth courses on issues related to work and the rights of workers in Canada. Graduates of the LCC are equipped to take leadership roles in their union, their labour council and the wider labour movement, for the benefit of all workers.
The application deadline is April 5, 2018.
Application will only be considered if all of the following are submitted and received by the deadline.
Applications are now open for the May 2018 startup of the new LCC Certificate Program.
